Yoga Retreat for Women of Color: Rediscover Your Divine Self

February 6-8, 2026

Celebrate your Divine right for belonging.

Rediscover your Divine Self

On February 7, 1926, Carter G. Woodson initiated the first celebration of Negro History Week which led to Black History Month, to extend and deepen the study and scholarship on African American history, all year long.

This weekend we gather for an intimate experience commemorating a century of Black history! We invite all women of color to join in this weekend, giving a moment to reflect on the power of witnessing our shared experiences of not only taking our place at the table, but holding each other as we do.

Through this retreat you will be empowered to transform your mind, body, and soul for collective liberation through movement, self-love, and soul work. Our time together will include accessible yoga (mat and chair), dance, theater and meditation. What is possible when we honor our shared journey for peace and inclusion? What is possible when we rise together to celebrate our divine right for belonging?

In this retreat, you will experience:

  • Embodied yoga

  • Dance movement

  • Opportunities for meditative contemplation

  • Joyful community

“Remember the sky that you were born under, know each of the star’s stories. Remember your birth, how your mother struggled to give you form and breath. You are evidence of her life, and her mother’s, and hers. Remember your father. He is your life, also. Remember the earth whose skin you are: red earth, black earth, yellow earth, white earth brown earth, we are earth. Remember you are all people and all people are you.”—Joy Harjo

“The sounds of a group of women of color laughing, singing, crying, praying, dancing, connects me to the past, present, and future. The stories shared among us are pure food for the soul. Ready to return home to live the best life for me, my family, and my community.”
